Gia Songur, Esq.

A cofounder of Monarch Law & Title, Gia Songur is also the founding attorney and shareholder of Songur & Associates. Songur and Associates focuses primarily on commercial and residential real estate transactions. She has represented sellers, buyers and lenders in various real estate transaction cases. Gia has spent her professional career in the pursuit of gaining knowledge and educating those around her about the law and their rights. In fact, Gia recently accepted a position as a professor at Valencia State College. Another personal American Dream achieved.

Currently, she is legal counsel for VS International Properties LLC and VS International Rental Properties. She continues to handle a vast number of Real Estate related matters as well as Landlord/Tenant issues. She also provides lease agreement drafting services for property managers and owners who rent out investment properties.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Gia is fluent in both English and Spanish.  She obtained her American Dream of a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico.  She later continued her education and personal goal to find a way to help other’s by attending Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor in 2001.

She is admitted to practice in Florida since 2002 and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Carmelina Marin, Esq.

A cofounder of Monarch Law & Title, Carmelina Marin has built her career helping families in family law and guiding individuals through bankruptcy. Along with Monarch Law & Title, Carmelina also is the founding attorney of The Marin Law Firm, P.A. Both in her family law and bankruptcy law practice, property issues are always present and are resolved in many ways.  Both require an in-depth knowledge of real estate law and how to facilitate real estate transactions; whether it is an investigation of title, curing clouded title, change of title, assumption of a mortgage, refinance a property, sale and/or purchase of a homestead or commercial property.

Now, Carmelina’s focus is dedicated to all matters of real estate.

Carmelina is a first-generation American, born in New York to immigrant parents from Spain and El Salvador.  She is fluent in English and Spanish.  When she was a young girl, it was instilled in her to work hard, do good work, and be faithful in God. It has been with this strong work ethic and spiritual beliefs that she has realized her American Dream of becoming both an entrepreneur and an attorney. She attended the Western New England School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2001.

She is admitted to practice in Florida since 2001 and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
