A native Texan and life-long resident of Jefferson County, Ken Whitlow has spent his professional career serving the residents of Southeast Texas. Beginning his career at Port Arthur Abstract & Title Company in 1980, Whitlow apprenticed at the side of his friend and mentor, Cary Bass.

In 2000, after establishing a successful career as a real estate & banking attorney, Ken returned to Port Arthur Abstract & Title Company as President and Counsel. The following year, he and the other members of the management team founded a subsidiary, Southeast Texas Title Company, to better serve Beaumont and other areas of the county. After years of managing both companies and seeing the need for more comprehensive and personal services over a broader service area, Ken partnered with his long-time colleague and fellow manager, Molly Mallet, to consolidate operations and staff by forming Texas Regional Title in 2008.

Since then, Ken and Molly have continued to expand Texas Regional Title’s market share of both residential and commercial title and escrow services, with a particular distinction as to their expertise in effectively dealing with complex transactions.

Ken’s primary areas of law practice are Real Estate, Business and Banking and he has been Board Certified in the areas of Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1996. He is admitted to practice in all Texas courts by the Texas Supreme Court, the United States District Courts of the Eastern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Ken lives in Port Neches with his wife, Becky. They have three daughters – Michelle, Taylor, and Kali. Their Goldendoodle, Dudley, regularly visits the office as Texas Regional Title’s ‘Mascot’!
